Sedona Travel Guide
Welcome to Sedona!
The small city of Sedona is renowned for stunning red rocks that tower high above the cityscape. Located at the lower end of Arizona’s impressive Oak Creek Canyon and surrounded by the Coconino National Forest, visitors are drawn to Sedona for its picturesque landscape. As a center for traditional and contemporary arts, Sedona offers a wide range of galleries, boutiques and specialty shops, showcased in the Tlaquepaque Arts and Crafts Village. The city is abuzz during the popular Jazz on the Rocks Festival every September and the International Film Festival, which occurs every March. The Sedona Heritage Museum relates the history of the area with exhibits ranging from Sedona’s pioneers to the more than 80 feature films made amidst the red rocks of this region. In recent years, Sedona has become a new age spiritual center featuring psychics, alternative healers and a number of new age retreats.
